How to Use TUFI Profi Gel Polish

• Disinfection: Disinfect the hands of both the technician and the client to ensure sterility.

• Manicure: Perform the manicure using your preferred technique.

• Push back the cuticle using a pusher or an orange stick.
• Remove dead skin with scissors, nippers, or a bit, working carefully.
• Remove hangnails (with scissors, nippers, bit, or cuticle remover) and file the nails into the desired shape.

• Nail Surface Preparation:

• Gently buff the nail plate with a 180–240 grit buffer to remove shine.
• Clean the nails from dust using lint-free wipes.
1. Degreasing: Apply TUFI Profi dehydrator to prepare the nails for adhesion with the gel polish system.

• Primer Application:

• Apply a thin layer of TUFI Profi primer to the nail plate, sealing the free edge (Ensure the primer is always liquid and not thick—thickened primer will not work properly / won't dry on the nail surface / can cause lifting).
• Allow to air dry for 30–60 seconds.
• Base Coat:
• Apply a thin layer of TUFI Profi base coat using rubbing motions, sealing the edges.
• Cure in a UV lamp (2 minutes) or UV/LED lamp (60 seconds).
• If necessary, apply a second layer to level or strengthen the nails and cure again.
• Color Coat:
• Apply the first thin layer of TUFI Profi gel polish, sealing the free edge.
• Cure each layer in a UV lamp (2 minutes) or UV/LED lamp (60 seconds).
• Apply a second layer for color intensity.
• Top Coat:
• Apply TUFI Profi top coat, making sure to seal the nail edges.
• Cure in a UV lamp (2 minutes) or UV/LED lamp (60 seconds).
• Finish:
• Remove the sticky layer with a cleanser if a tacky top coat was used.
• If using a non-wipe top coat, skip this step.
• Care: Complete the procedure by applying TUFI Profi nourishing cuticle oil to soften the skin and give a well-groomed appearance.
